I chose to take pictures of this plant because it when I saw it I realized it had many cool angles to it. I put it in front of the window to get the sunlight to beam onto it. I thought the sunlight would add to the picture because plants need sunlight and it brought out the leaves. My mom bought me this plant because I wanted to put plants in my room and so it reminds me of her. The green colors make these images come to life and create the meaning I had intended.
I took these pictures outside on my doorstep. I chose this place because it is one of the most common places that people walk on and it has a connection to me and my house. I had trouble creating focus on an intended point. I wanted both pictures to have a pop of color. I didn't want for the color to take away from the shoes. I also tried to use symmetrical balance on the right to create a sense of order while the other one in more messy.
I took these pictures outside in my yard. I like the reflections in the sunglasses and it brings out the idea of summer and sunsets and so I wanted those to be shown outside. I had problems with setting up my pictures because to make them different I needed a different background like every time. The pictures ended up being taken in a few different places in my yard. I also had a few problems with dark lighting but was able to fix it in power school.
I took these pictures on the table because that is the usual environment where I drink from glasses. The sun was starting to set which created cool reflections from the glass. It was hard for me to find balance in the photos. The one on the left I had to position so on one side was the glass and the other, the reflection. I also struggled with lighting because the sun was setting but I wanted to use natural light so some pictures turned out darker than I intended.
I took these pictures on the bookshelf. The bookshelf is where the clock is and I thought that background looked good. I had problems since the books were so colorful to make the focus on the clock. I tried a lot of different techniques. The picture on the left you can still see the face of the clock but also the side reflects the books. The only thing I really struggled with was that and creativity.
